Millennials are too dependent on technology and nostalgia

I wrote a Medium post last year about the Jazz Age, where I explored my discomfort with my own ideas about what life was like for young Americans during that time.

I’ve never been a fan of nostalgia, but it occurs to me now that it is in part a reaction against my own generation’s love affair with romanticism. I’ve rewritten the piece to focus on how differently millennials approach the future, compared to their counterparts 100 years ago. Read it on Medium.
